Itineraries
Day 1
Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Your unforgettable journey begins with pick-up from your hotel or riad in Fes at the agreed time. We travel south towards Ifrane, a beautiful mountain town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its unique architecture, clean streets and cool climate.
We continue to Azrou and the famous Cedar Forest, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and observe the Barbary macaques in their natural environment. After some free time, we continue through the spectacular landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Midelt.
After lunch, the journey continues through mountain passes and changing landscapes towards the beautiful Ziz Valley, famous for its impressive palm groves and panoramic views. We pass through Errachidia, Erfoud and Rissani before arriving in Merzouga in the late afternoon.
Enjoy dinner and spend the night in a comfortable hotel located near the magnificent dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Day 2
Merzouga Desert – Khamlia – Nomad Families – Erg Chebbi Desert Camp
After breakfast, we begin a full-day exploration of the Merzouga Desert and the spectacular dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Our adventure includes a visit to Khamlia Village, known for its rich Gnawa musical traditions. Enjoy traditional Moroccan mint tea while experiencing the unique rhythms and spiritual music of the local Gnawa culture.
We continue through the desert to visit nomadic families living in traditional tents, where you can learn more about their lifestyle and experience authentic Moroccan hospitality.
Later, return to the Merzouga area and prepare for one of the most memorable experiences of your journey. Ride a camel across the golden dunes as the sun begins to set over the Sahara.
Arrive at your traditional desert camp, enjoy dinner and spend a magical night under the stars surrounded by the peaceful silence of the Sahara.

Day 3
Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara Desert. After breakfast and a refreshing shower, we leave the desert behind and continue towards Rissani, an important historic trading town in southern Morocco. If your tour takes place on a market day, you may have the opportunity to visit its traditional souk.
We continue towards the spectacular Todra Gorge, one of Morocco's most impressive natural attractions. The Todra River has carved a dramatic canyon with towering vertical cliffs, creating an unforgettable landscape. Enjoy free time to walk through the gorge and admire its natural beauty.
Our journey continues through the beautiful Dades Valley and towards the famous Rose Valley, known for its traditional villages and beautiful landscapes.
We then travel to the palm oasis of Skoura, famous for its extensive palm groves and historic kasbahs, before arriving in Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara and Morocco's famous film city.
Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel or riad.
Overnight: Ouarzazate
Day 4
Ouarzazate – Taourirt Kasbah – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast, we begin the final day of our adventure with the opportunity to visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most important kasbahs in southern Morocco.
We then continue to the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco's most famous fortified villages. Explore its ancient streets and admire the traditional architecture that has made this location famous around the world.
After lunch, we begin our journey towards Marrakech, crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n'Tichka Pass, at approximately 2,260 metres above sea level.
Enjoy several stops along the way for photographs and panoramic views before arriving in the vibrant city of Marrakech, where your unforgettable 4-day Morocco desert adventure comes to an end.
