Day 1
Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Film Studios – Taourirt Kasbah – Ouarzazate
Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech at around 9:00 AM. We leave the city behind and travel through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, crossing the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass at approximately 2,260 metres above sea level.
Along the way, we pass through traditional mountain villages and enjoy beautiful panoramic views before arriving at the legendary Ait Ben Haddou. This magnificent fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Morocco's most iconic locations. Its unique architecture and dramatic setting have made it a popular filming location for many international productions.
After exploring Ait Ben Haddou, we stop for lunch before continuing towards Ouarzazate, often known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert and Morocco's famous film capital.
Here, you will have the opportunity to visit the famous film studios and discover the impressive sets used in numerous international productions. We will also visit, or have the opportunity to explore, the historic Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most impressive and important kasbahs in southern Morocco.
Dinner and overnight stay in a comfortable hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 2
Ouarzazate – Anti-Atlas Mountains – Agdz – Draa Valley – Nkob – Rissani – Merzouga
After breakfast, we begin our journey towards the Sahara Desert. Our route takes us across the beautiful Anti-Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi n'Tinifift mountain pass at approximately 1,710 metres.
We continue towards Agdz, where we stop to admire the spectacular views over the palm-filled Draa Valley. This beautiful region is famous for its endless palm groves, traditional mud-brick kasbahs and authentic Berber villages.
Along the way, we make several stops to enjoy the scenery and discover the traditional architecture of southern Morocco. We continue towards the charming Berber village of Nkob, where we stop for lunch.
In the afternoon, the landscape gradually changes as we travel through open desert scenery and pass acacia trees on our way towards Merzouga and the magnificent dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Upon arrival, you can leave your main luggage safely at the hotel and prepare for an unforgettable camel trek into the Sahara. Ride across the golden dunes as the sun sets before arriving at your traditional desert camp.
Enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner and spend an unforgettable night in a nomadic-style desert tent, surrounded by silence, stars and the magical atmosphere of the Sahara.
Overnight: Desert Camp in Merzouga
Day 3
Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Wake up early to experience one of the most magical moments of your journey: sunrise over the Sahara Desert. You can walk to a nearby dune and watch the first light of the day illuminate the golden landscape.
After breakfast and a refreshing shower, we say goodbye to the desert and begin our journey towards Rissani, an important historic town in the Tafilalt region. If the tour takes place on a local market day, you may have the opportunity to visit its traditional souk.
We continue towards Erfoud, where there may be an opportunity to visit a local fossil workshop and discover the region's famous fossilised marble.
Our journey then takes us through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad before arriving at one of the highlights of southern Morocco: the spectacular Todra Gorge.
The Todra River has carved a dramatic canyon with enormous vertical cliffs, creating one of the most impressive natural landscapes in Morocco. Enjoy lunch in the area and take time for a walk through the gorge to appreciate its beauty.
In the afternoon, we continue towards the beautiful Dades Valley, known for its dramatic landscapes, unique rock formations and traditional villages.

Overnight: Dades Valley
Day 4
Dades Valley – Valley of Roses – Skoura – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast, we begin the final day of our journey. Our first destination is the beautiful Valley of Roses, located between the High Atlas Mountains and the Dades Valley. This region is particularly famous for its rose cultivation, traditional villages and beautiful scenery.
We continue towards Skoura, a peaceful oasis known for its extensive palm groves and historic kasbahs. Enjoy time to admire the landscapes and explore this beautiful region.
Our journey then continues towards Ouarzazate before we begin the scenic drive back to Marrakech. Once again, we cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains and travel through the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with opportunities to stop and enjoy the panoramic views.
After lunch along the way, we continue towards the vibrant Red City of Marrakech, where your unforgettable 4-day Morocco desert adventure comes to an end.
